Welcome to my blog
Who am I?
I am a woman, a mother and a blog writer, rounding the bases toward her 40th year in this thing called life. I've been married and divorced, and after a couple whirlwind years, I am on my journey home, discovering me for me. I've recently rediscovered my love of writing, and how healing it can be to sit amongst the trees or near the water and let the sounds of nature soothe me as I bleed out onto the page.
What will you find on my blog?
To be honest, my blog will likely be as multi-faceted as I am. With pictures of my adventures in the great outdoors, real and raw emotion spilled out in each story, my a-ha moments of enlightenment, and my oh sh*t moments of realizing that I just might be the problem.
Why did I start this blog?
I started this blog because I felt the call to share my story, to allow my words to fall freely onto the page and find anyone who can relate. This blog is for those who have gone on their hero's journey, as well as those who haven't yet answered the call from within, although they hear it ringing. It is my hope that my story will find those who feel lost and alone, offering reassurance that they don't have to weather the storm in solitude. I too have had my own dark night of soul, and I want to be there for those who are in the thick of it.
